and mom of two.

I’ve been a passionate runner for over 25 years, inspired by my brothers to join my high school cross country team. We were fortunate to have a coach who made running fun and motivating, which led to a boys and girls team cross country state title and a girls team track state title. I was hooked on running from that point on!
After high school, I attended the University of Florida. While I had success as a high school runner, I wasn’t at the level needed to join such an elite collegiate team. Looking back, it was likely a blessing, as I shifted running into a way to recharge mentally and stay active. During this time, I casually ran for fitness and even tried my first marathon as a senior, finishing in 4:38. It was a painful experience, and I swore off marathons—until I tried again the next year with similar results and decided to put them on hold.

For the next five years, running remained a hobby I enjoyed. After having my son in 2010, I started a new chapter in my running journey. I logged countless miles pushing a jogging stroller, and even more with a double stroller after my daughter was born. Two years later, I broke 20 minutes in the 5K for the first time, reigniting my competitive spirit and a drive to see what I could accomplish.
In 2016, I decided to revisit the marathon with a goal of one day qualifying for Boston. My first attempt didn’t go as planned, but I saw significant improvement over my early marathon experiences. In 2017, I finally earned my Boston Qualifier and had the honor of lining up in Boston in 2019. While the race was challenging, it became a turning point. Four days later, I reached out to Jon Mott with RunnersFix, and his coaching philosophy completely transformed my running. In the last five years, I’ve set PRs in nearly every distance and proven that improvement is possible at any age, even as a Masters runner

Now, I’m enjoying the best of both worlds—pursuing my own training while also coaching amazing athletes and helping them reach their goals. As a working mom, I understand the challenges of balancing training with work and family life. I create schedules that are sustainable but also push my athletes to achieve big things. Running has given me so much over the years, and I’m passionate about helping others find their own joy and success in the sport.
